The charcoal filter is designed to eliminate refrigerant gas from the purge-air stream while purging is underway. It is recommended to replace the charcoal filter (Part Number 3015-3125) every six months, upon detection of a zero filter fault (fault code), or following exposure of the monitor to abnormally elevated levels of refrigerant gas, such as after an evacuation alarm.
